If you’re planning to have surgery, you’ll want to spend some time preparing. That means taking care of your health, learning as much as you can about the procedure and getting to know the people who will be taking care of you. Planning ahead can help ensure you have a successful procedure and heal faster with a smooth recovery.




  • One of our nurses will contact you a few days prior to surgery. Please contact us if you do not hear from us at 209.836.8650

  • If there is any change in your health condition, such as a cold or fever, please notify your surgeon.

  • You must arrange in advance for a responsible adult to accompany you home from the center.

  • DO NOT eat or drink anything after midnight not even coffee or water-unless your surgeon/anesthesiologist states otherwise.





  • Please shower prior to your surgery. Do not use lotions or oils after your shower.

  • Please do not wear makeup or nail polish.

  • Wear loose comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes.

  • Leave all valuables at home except for necessary payment obligations ie credit cards, check, etc.

  • Bring ID and insurance card.

  • If you wear glasses or contact lenses, bring a case to protect them.


  • After surgery, you will spend a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour in our recovery area. The length of stay in recovery may vary.

  • You must have a responsible adult care for you during the first 24 hours after your surgery.

  • You will be given discharge instructions during recovery, please follow these instructions and contact your surgeons office with any questions.

  • One of our nurses will contact you within a few days of surgery to see how you are doing.

  • You will receive an email the next day after your procedure with our Satisfaction Survey. We would love to get your feedback.
